The goal of this game is to rebel. It is impossible for a player to live off the grid. The goal is to break the confinement of the grid, disrupting through conquering.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
Sol Patrol is the product of an utopian ideal.
The initial purpose was simple. To lock up NFTs and serve as an interactive game with a reward only initiative.
Yet this project with a virtuous purpose and honor system, like every utopian ideation is a distorted reflection of the reality it was derived from.
The players cannot escape the human form and within omnipresent human-technology interaction they cannot escape the online grid. They can however utilize the pre-human monkey within a post-human cyberspace as a form of escapism and as a tool for rebellion. The player can only disrupt the confines of the grid by conquering it. Sol Patrol no longer serves the purpose of imprisoning NFTs but allows NFTs to fracture imprisonment.
The game cannot distort reality but the gamer can settle the playing field.
